Getting started with Soupreme
Soupreme keeps your recipes, meal plans and grocery lists in one place and syncs them across iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows. This guide covers the first ten minutes.
Create an account
You can use Soupreme without an account — everything works offline. Sign up (email or Apple/Google) when you want:
- Sync between devices
- Web clipping of recipes from any site
- AI helpers — scan a cookbook page, import from text, voice notes
Open More → Account in the app to register. We send a verification email; tap the link and you’re in.
Add your first recipe
Tap the + button on the Recipes screen and pick a source:
- New recipe — an empty form you fill in yourself.
- From URL — paste a link to any recipe page; Soupreme extracts the recipe automatically.
- Paste text — copy a recipe from anywhere (chat, email, note) and let Soupreme structure it.
- Scan photo — snap up to 6 pages of a cookbook or recipe card.
- From Instagram — paste a link to a public post or reel.
Everything except New recipe shows a preview first: check the fields, fix anything the importer got wrong, then save.
Find it later
Use search at the top of the Recipes screen — by name, ingredient or full text. Categories (folder-like, nestable) and the ★ favorite flag help keep large collections tidy.
