Meal planning and grocery lists

Plan the week, generate a shopping list from it, and check things off at the store — the loop Soupreme is built around.

The meal planner

The Meals tab shows a week (or month) grid. Add a recipe to any day via the + on a day cell, or from a recipe screen (Add to plan). Besides recipes you can add plain-text entries («leftovers», «eating out»). Meal types — breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack — are editable in settings.

Marking a planned meal as cooked feeds your cooking history: it powers the «What to cook» suggestions and the seasonal picks.

Grocery lists

Add ingredients to a list from a recipe (all at once or selectively) or type items by hand. Soupreme:

  • Merges duplicates200 g flour from one recipe and 1 cup flour from another become a single line with both quantities combined when units are convertible.
  • Sorts by aisle — produce, dairy, meat and so on; aisles are editable.
  • Keeps several lists — e.g. a weekly list and a party list.

Checked items stay visible (struck through) until you clear them, so you can undo an accidental tap in the store.

Pantry

The Pantry tab tracks what you already have, with optional expiry dates. When you generate a grocery list, items you have in stock are flagged. The «From your pantry» section of recommendations suggests recipes you can cook right now with what’s on hand.
